Welcome to the Stillwater Grill

The Stillwater Grill was inspired and developed by the Minnesota Zephyr Dinner Train with 22 years of experience serving over 1 million guests. The Grill is truly a Stillwater area landmark with a colorful history and incredible name recognition.

During the term of its operation the Zephyr and the Grill offered the best in prime beef, pork and fresh seafood and boasted as one of the largest procurer of selected fine beef products in the Midwest.

The Grill, now offered for sale or lease by its owner, offers a truly a unique opportunity.  The new occupant will have the use of over a half million dollars of furniture, fixtures and equipment in addition to an invaluable collection of memorabilia that is truly museum quality.  The opportunities are galore and the potential for growth inevitable.

There is an overwhelming desire by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources to utilize the Zephyr rightaway to complete their Gateway Trail System (biking and walking trail) which would establish a beginning and ending point in an area directly adjacent to the Grill. According to the MN DNR the proposed addition to the Gateway Trail System  connecting St. Paul to Stillwater will be one of the most popular system in the Midwest. This trail of approximately 18 miles will start or stop right behind the Stillwater Grill. Sources within the DNR estimate the use of this trail extension will host up to 200-300 thousand people annually.

The combination of the city’s public parking lot and the grill’s private lot will accommodate up to 153 cars. In addition there is over 40 parking spots for the staff at the north end of the building.  In a recent interview with developer and owner Dave Paradeau he stated ”as you can imagine, the future for the Stillwater north end is exciting….I am equally excited for the Grill, its new ownership and am extremely pleased to be part of the development and growth of the City of Stillwater.”
